The BCPs are working groups in each thematic area of the seventh Framework Programme (FP7) whose main aim is to coordinate Basque agents’ European action in their area in order to optimise the effort made and the overall results obtained. The BCPs should serve to boost the presence of Basque businesses in European R&D.
Each BCP is made up of a leader, a group of specialists and an influential business group.
Users of this website can access the public information on the activities currently being carried out by each BCP. To do so, users should fill in the Registration form to receive a username and password. Once they have registered, they can access this website through the intranet using the Suscription option.
It is made up of more than 250 professionals structured in accordance with the European Commission’s FP7 criteria:
- By thematic area (nine).
- By sub-area, when advisable, in accordance with the platforms in each area.
Firstly, a leader is appointed for each theme by identifying the most suitable specialisation and ensuring a leadership equilibrium is maintained between all the forces in the system. The leader is responsible for reporting on the BCP’s activity – together with the other BCP leaders – to EUROBULEGOA as a whole. In this way, EUROBULEGOA’s European-orientated organisation can be strengthened in a practical manner by increasing the system’s involvement.
In addition, there is a specialist group comprising the majority of agents and businesses actively working in each thematic area.
Finally, the group is completed by the involvement of businesses which although lacking the specific resources to work in the groups can benefit from this output by participating in the BCPs.
Each BCP maintains the global vision of all the instruments available in the Framework Programmes, other European R&D programmes, ERA-NET calls, special proposals for courses of action to boost the Basque presence in European calls, etc. |
